Weddings & Elopements

As a Portland Wedding Photographer, I believe your wedding is far more than simply an event — it is a thoughtfully curated celebration of your story, your people, and the life you are building together.

From grand wedding weekends to intimate celebrations throughout Portland, Vancouver, & beyond, every wedding is documented with care and a valued respect for the significance of the day. My approach, as a wedding photographer in Portland, is centered around creating an experience that feels effortless while preserving your memories in a way that is both honest and enduring.

A La Carte

elopements  & Micro Weddings

*An elopement or micro wedding constitutes the couple & 10 guests or less.

Elopements & Micro Weddings Begin at $700.00 an hour with a two hour minimum.

I believe that elopements are one of the most powerful and personal ways to celebrate love. My goal is to document your day in a way that feels true to who you are. As a dedicated Washington & Oregon elopement photographer, I specialize in capturing the raw emotion and deep connection that make intimate weddings so unforgettable.

I bring a deep appreciation for the region’s natural beauty and a calm, intentional approach to every elopement. If you're planning a small celebration in the heart of the city or a secluded ceremony in the wild, I’ll help you plan the perfect photography experience.

As a trusted Portland elopement photographer, I am familiar with the best hidden gems and dramatic backdrops that Portland & Vancouver have to offer, ensuring your love story is captured with authenticity and artistry.

For couples looking to elope in more remote or adventurous locations, I have my hiking boots packed and ready to go! Trips up the mountains are my forte! With me, your elopement will be more than just a ceremony — it will be a beautifully preserved experience, full of emotion, intimacy, and natural beauty.

Alicia is AMAZING! She was more than accommodating and supportive. So not only are we indebted to her for capturing the most special day of our lives so beautifully, we are also so grateful for the kindness and joy she brought to the whole experience. We were lucky to work with her and you would be too. :)

The Process

Yes! Yes! Yes! to Alicia! She is funny, inviting, and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. From our first consultation, all the way through, she made the process easy, smooth, and no stress at all! We wanted a small intimate gathering and she knew a location to suggest, helped us with our timeline, and was always available when we had questions. Thank you so much Alicia!!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is your photography style?

what is the average wedding photographer cost? how do I know I am getting a quality photographer?

Do you do engagement photos?

What if you have never been to wedding venue in Portland? or Vancouver?

Do I need a second photographer?

It is so important to make sure your wedding photographer in Portland matches your vision for your wedding. I am a storyteller which means I am a documentary style photographer. Yes, I Will always take the family portraits but I will also give you a fully documented story of your special occasion from beginning to end. That is why I usually recommend my 8 or 10 hour packages so that you get a full story of your beautiful wedding day to remember forever. My editing style is vibrant and true to color for that timeless imagery that will keep your Portland wedding photos beautiful keepsakes.

The average wedding photographer cost really is dependent on location. High-end tourist destinations tend to have higher price tags on wedding photographers than other locations. High cost of living areas tend to have higher photographer price tags. In Portland, Vancouver, & surrounding areas, the average cost for a wedding photographer for an 8 hour wedding is between $2000.00-$7000.00. There is definitely a truth to the saying "you get what you pay for". If you are looking for a cheaper photographer, make sure you manage expectations on what to expect from your photographer. Check out there style, examples, ask them if they use one or two cameras and how they backup your photos, if they use flash in not well lit areas, etc. Gather a list of questions before you have your first consultation. A quality photographer will know how to take proper photos in all lighting, have proper backup methods for your photos, will have a contract, a business license and insurance, and most of all clear, concise, and available communication practices. The average tun around time for wedding photos is 4-8 weeks. If their delivery time is longer than this or they have no delivery guarantee in their contract, run!

I absolutely do engagement photos near me in Portland & Vancouver! In fact, proposals and engagement sessions are some of my favorite sessions. To witness the unique interaction to every couple is so much fun to watch. The romance, the excitement, the fun is like watching a real life romantic comedy. I enjoy playing with fun prompts and games for my couples to get the best reactions from them. If you book my 8 or 10 hour wedding packages, I offer free engagement sessions with them. It is a great chance to get to know each couple before their wedding day.

I'd love to say I have been to every Portland Wedding Venue in the city but there are literally hundreds in the cities! I always scout my Portland wedding venues far in advance of your wedding day in order to check spaces, lighting, and flow for the day. I pride myself on being well prepared for each wedding day including timeline prep and walk through with the bride and groom, as well as becoming familiar with every wedding venue in Portland OR or Vancouver WA.

I get this question often and I tell my couples that if your guest list is over 100 people, I absolutely recommend a second photographer. In fact, I am so insistent on the second photographer for larger weddings that I include them in my wedding packages. There are so many moments going on throughout the day and the one way to assure not one is missed is by having a team set in place to capture the look on the groom's face watching his bride coming towards him and the bride's face the first time she sees her groom.
